All applicable federal and state laws and regulations apply and are enforceable. Outlined are requirements and regulations for driving off-road at Cape Cod National Seashore. Fees may be paid on a daily basis, or beachgoers may purchase a national seashore seasonal pass good for the entire summer. Fees are collected at beach entrances between late June and mid-September. A Kiosk Station is available at the following: Truro Beach Office (36 Shore Road, North Truro) from 9. The ORV corridor at Cape Cod National Seashore is comprised of miles of unspoiled beaches managed by the National Park Service to accommodate ORV enthusiasts and other beach goers. Fees Seasonal beach fees apply during the summer months. Permits are 10 per fire and are non-refundable. Only properly inspected and permitted vehicles are allowed. Permit Required You must have a valid ORV permit to drive a vehicle on the ORV corridor. Read below for more information on obtaining a permit.

The last permit of the day will be issued at 4:15 pm. Follow the 'How to Get an ORV Permit' link for the mail-in application and more information. The permit office is open daily, 8 am - 4:30 pm.

The April 23 youth turkey hunt does not require additional permitting through the seashore beyond state licensing requirements.

Mail-in applications MUST include a self addressed, stamped envelope so the permit can be mailed back to you. As always, the Oversands Permit Office at Race Point Beach opens April 10 for in-person permit applications. However, a national seashore turkey hunting permit is required in addition to the state hunting license and state turkey permit. Applications from prior years will not be accepted. The 2023 form will be a brand-new format from previous years. The updated 2023 mail-in permit application will be posted to the website on April 1, 2023. For the 2023 season, Cape Cod National Seashore will offer both a mail-in permit application option as well as an in-person permit application option for annual permits.
